2019 Student Barometer to launch on 4 November

Students in a seminar

We want to make sure our students’ time at Sussex is the best it can be, so we have asked an independent research agency (i-graduate) to gather crucial feedback through the Student Barometer survey.

On Monday (4 November) relevant students will receive an email from i-graduate with more information and a link to take part in the survey.

This survey is one way for students to let the University know how they are finding their time at Sussex, so that we can better understand what’s working and make improvements for everyone studying with us, now and in the future.

Professor Kelly Coate, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students, says: “Through the Student Barometer we are gathering important feedback which will help to shape strategic developments to enhance the student experience. Thank you for supporting work in this area.”

All undergraduates (with the exception of finalists) and postgraduates are being asked to take part. Finalists will be invited to complete the National Student Survey (NSS) in early 2020 instead.

As a thank you, students who take part in the survey have the opportunity to win one of five £500 vouchers to spend on travel (STA Travel), tech (Currys PC World) or food (Sainsbury’s).

Please help to support promotion and mention the survey to eligible students. Further information and resources have been circulated to Schools and relevant units.
