Your chance to win free staff tickets for Brighton Festival event

Sussex staff are invited to experience the “intensity and excitement of a virtuosic ensemble at full power” during the Brighton Festival in May.

The University of Sussex is once again a major sponsor of the Brighton Festival as part of its continued commitment to the arts and the local community.

We have a number of tickets to one of our exciting sponsored events, Belshazzar’s Feast, the 50th anniversary concert from the Brighton Festival Chorus and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

This performance of William Walton’s cantata – alongside works by two other English composers - takes place on Sunday 27 May in the Brighton Dome Concert Hall.

The event starts at 6.30pm with a special drinks reception in the Brighton Dome mezzanine, followed by the performance at 7.30pm in the Concert Hall.

If you would like to apply for a pair of free tickets to this rousing event, please email by 9 May and you will be entered into a lottery.

Successful applicants will be notified by 11 May and tickets can be collected on the evening of the event.

Established in 1967, Brighton Festival has become one of the city's most enduring symbols of inventiveness and celebration over the past half-century. Renowned for its pioneering spirit and experimental reputation, the festival is now one of Europe’s leading arts festivals.
