The University would like to thank you for your patience and co-operation regarding the Study Direct problems encountered last week. The system was up and running by 11am on Friday 12 January, but we are aware of the anxiety and difficulty many of you experienced before that. We apologise again for this.

If your work was originally due to be submitted electronically on Thursday 11 January or Friday 12 January:  you can submit without penalty within the original late submission deadline. (24 hours or 7 days - see your assessment timetable on Study Direct.)

If your work was originally due to be submitted electronically today or from today onwards: standard penalties apply if your work is submitted late, as the Study Direct issues have been resolved and the service is running.
