All parking permit applications for 2019/20 are now open

Applications for parking permits at the University are now open, with all current 2018/19 permits expiring on 31 August 2019.

All drivers at the University will need to renew or reapply for their parking permit if they wish to drive to campus during the 2019/20 academic year.

If you are a staff member directly employed by the University (including IDS and BSMS) with a Sussex Direct log-in, applications and renewals are currently open via Sussex Direct. Navigate to 'Personal', then 'Transport' to renew your permit or pass.

All other parking permit applications should be submitted via the appropriate application form available on the Transport web pages.

This includes the following permit types:

If you already have a disabled or mobility issue permit that was scheduled by the Student Support Unit or Occupational Health to last until 2019/20 or later, please email your up-to-date vehicle details to transport@sef.fm so we can verify and renew your permit.

Student permits and permits for individuals with exceptional circumstances cannot be applied for via Sussex Direct.

Parking permit applications are processed on a first-come, first serve basis. It is therefore recommended that you submit your application form as promptly as possible to ensure you get a permit. Third party staff should contact their line manager for information regarding parking permits.

If your application is successful, you will be notified via email how and when you can collect your permit.

Full information on parking permit applications for 2019/20, and information on campus parking in general, is available on the Transport website.

If you have any questions or concerns, the Transport Office is open to all general enquiries from 9am to 5pm on weekdays.
