Apply by 28 February to the Doctoral School’s Public Engagement fund and Researcher-Led Initiative fund

There’s just two weeks left to apply to the Doctoral School’s Public Engagement fund and Researcher-Led Initiative fund.

The Public Engagement Fund is a scheme which builds on the success of recent doctoral and early career researchers in securing public engagement funding, and is designed to encourage more researchers to work in this way. Eligible researchers are invited to apply for a small grant of up to £750 towards a public engagement activity that they are planning.

The Researcher-Led Initiative (RLI) Fund supports doctoral and early career researchers to organise short-term, well-defined activities at Sussex that will enhance their professional and research skills. Researchers can apply for up to £1,000 and seek funding for activities which expand or build on current provision for researchers.

The deadline for applications to the current call of both the Public Engagement fund and the RLI fund is Wednesday 28 February.
