From lifting for strength, jumping for power and short recoveries, these high intensity classes are perfect for the all-in-one workout. Train both strength/strength endurance and conditioning in one class, making these ideal for maximising training time.

Try out:

  • Metabolic Training - a class centred on strength training to produce a high intensity class that trains both the muscular and cardiovascular system to create a smart training solution. The class uses a rotation system, so the user can record their progress. The class uses barbells, dumbbells, ropes, kettlebells and medicine balls and requires some experience of free weight training. The class is a great calorie burner, great fun and is a challenging workout.
  • Indoor Group Cycling - cycle to the beat of the music or speed through challenging intervals. This high intensity class will help you burn calories, energise the body and is suitable for all abilities. If you are new to indoor group cycling please read the Schwinn bike set up information first.
  • PiYo - combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga.  We crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
  • Circuits - an all over body workout. This class is aimed to get you stronger, leaner, help you burn more calories and is guaranteed to leave you feeling like you have had a good session! The class is aimed at all levels from the beginner through to the advanced trainer.
  • Insanity - this ultimate cardio and total body workout is based around the extremely popular training videos by Shaun T. The workout is high intensity and fast paced using intervals to burn energy and increase fitness. Using jumps, sprints, strength and core exercises this class should be top of your list if intensity is your thing.
  • Classic Aerobics - the classic cardio workout that incorporates high/low routines, mixed with challenging and exciting choreography.
  • Boxercise - the best stress buster around! Boxercise is considered one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today, combining a cardio workout with a conditioning workout; stimulating all muscle groups to help you increase your fitness and stamina, lose weight and tone up all at the same time, making it one of the most fun and effective ways to exercise.
  • Dynamic Pilates - a much more movement based/demanding class for those that enjoy the core elements of Pilates but want a greater workout.
  • HIT - Suitable for all fitness levels: you start the class with a short step routine designed to warm up the muscles you will be using during the class. The rest of the session is split into 4 x 4 strength exercises using bodyweight and dumbells. You will work the lower body, upper body, whole body and core. The method of training creates a high intensity, high energy, high calorie burn. 
  • KickBoxerciseKickBoxercise is the best stress buster around! It is considered one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today.
