We are Sussexsport, the University's sports department.
We manage the two on-campus gyms, group exercise classes and courses, sports halls, tennis courts and pitches - with a selection of great value memberships for University of Sussex students.
We're passionate about getting everyone active. From all inclusive membership that includes the gym, classes and racket sports from as little as £15 per month.
National Fitness Day Wednesday 22nd September
National Fitness Day is a UK Active initiative that will take place on Wednesday 22nd September. This is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping us raise awareness of its importance in helping us lead healthier lifestyles through being physical active.
As members of UK Active we are opening our doors to students and staff to come and try our facilities, take part in a group exercise class or meet new students in one of our Active US sessions.
On Wednesday you will be able to access both of our gyms at the Falmer Sports Complex and Sport Centre for FREE. In addition we also have the following group exercise classes and Active US sessions running during the day.

A chance to run and socialise with friends and meet new students, the run will be around 30 minutes. Meet at the sports centre where the run will begin.
- Drop-in Squash: 1.50pm - 3.50pm

Drop in anytime between 13.50 -15.50 and play some casual squash games, play with your friends or meet new students, all abilities are welcome. Location: Squash courts in the sports centre.
