Give your views on local sports facilities

Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) want to hear your views about how they can improve local sports facilities.

Please complete the City Council’s survey so they can include your feedback in their Sports Facilities Investment Plan.

The investment plan will aim to deliver good-quality, accessible, sustainable facilities and services that support increased levels of participation.

In partnership with Freedom Leisure, University of Sussex students can swim for £1 at participating pools in Brighton & Hove.

University of Sussex staff also get discounted swims at local pools. The staff swim offer is valid all year round at Freedom Leisure pools in Brighton & Hove, for £2 a swim.

If you use these swimming pools or any other sports facilities in Brighton & Hove  or if you would like to take part in sport  please take the time to complete the survey.

Simon Tunley, Head of Sport at the University of Sussex, says: “In addition to our on-campus facilities and as part of our year-round sports programme, we liaise with local off-campus venues to offer lots of sporting opportunities for our students and staff.

“So please do complete the City Council’s survey about the sports facilities they offer, because any future local investment will benefit our students and staff.”

The findings of the City Council’s survey, which is open until 17 January 2021, will also be used to help inform BHCC’s Sport and Physical Activity Strategy.
