Our month-long Commit to Get Fit challenge has inspired staff to get more active for the past seven years and is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues across campus.
The month starts with the annual Boundary Walk and finishes with our popular Boundary Fun Run.
The staff programme this May is all about making small changes to your lifestyle that will improve you and your colleagues’ overall fitness, health and wellbeing. It is also a great opportunity to meet new colleagues, get to know your own team better and most importantly have some fun.
We want everybody taking part to be active for 150 minutes every week for the five weeks of the challenge.
To support you, we’ll be offering free Sussexsport staff membership from 1-31 May, plus more than 30 group exercise classes to attend. Try mountain biking on the Downs, outdoor fitness sessions, indoor cycling and much more.

Throughout the month we will also be running workshops and sharing information on how to improve and maintain your health and wellbeing.
Organisational Development (formerly SDU) also have Wellbeing Wednesday sessions throughout May. You can find out more by checking out their programme and book onto their sessions using Sussex Direct.
