World Mental Health Day

Today (10 October) is World Mental Health Day and we’re taking the opportunity to raise awareness of mental health, how we can promote better mental health, and where to find information and support.

Tea and Talk

We are holding a Tea and Talk event in the Meeting House today (10 October).

From 11am-2pm you can come along and enjoy free tea and biscuits, and our Wellbeing Volunteers will be there to chat about mental health and how we can promote good mental health.

No need to book – just come along for a cuppa and a chat!

Look After Your Mate workshops

Tomorrow (11 October) we will be launching Look After Your Mate workshops here at Sussex.

The workshop is designed by student mental health charity Student Minds, and in the three-hour session you’ll find out how to start having conversations about mental health, and how to offer support to a friend. You can find out more on our Student Wellbeing web pages.
