This symposium - hosted by the Centre for Social Work Innovation and Research in collaboration with Brighton and Hove City Council, East Susses County Council and the University of Lancaster - will provide an opportunity for a range of professionals to hear about current research and practice issues in the field of recurrent removal of children from their families. Presentations will include findings from recent and current research being undertaken across local authorities in England and issues arising from practice in local social work contexts.

The event will also offer an opportunity to engage in active dialogue with peers and colleagues and network across the diverse stakeholder groups engage in this work.
