Project Name:  Design For Diabetes

 

Project Info:  Design for Diabetes is a project which focuses on redesigning the current solutions  available for glucose and insulin management.

 

The main focus will be to reduce the clinical feel attached to current designs and   allow users a more personal and customized experience. The product will also grow   with their users  by introducing different user interfaces for kids, teenagers and adults.

 

The project will also look to take advantage of current technologies, along with    future upcoming technologies to create a product which both compact and simplistic in design.

 

Bio:  As a designer I have a keen interest in creating functional, aesthetically pleasing products of a high quality. A famous quote from Steve Jobs really sums it up.

 

“When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to   use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will   ever see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through.”
