Own Grown Vegetables
A Childs Vegetable Growing Kit that educates children about sustainable
growing.
Own Grown Kids provides a child with the whole growing experience, from seed to vegetable. The product range involves giving feedback on how their seeds are growing into healthy vegetables. This is done through two important products which ensure a child is having a worthwhile learning experience. The Farmer Fred Soil Monitor collects information about the soil and transmits its information to a 'tamagotchi' device through RFID technology. The tamagotchi presents this data through a 'virtual vegetable' and grows and 'evolves' according to how well the vegetable is growing in reality. This service is backed up by an interactive website where children can play games with their 'virtual vegetables' and parent's iPhone app to regulate their progress.
