Teachbox. An inspirational teaching aid complete within a cardboard box.

TeachBox provides schools with a role-play based learning opportunity for children within their classroom. It is a cardboard box 'play house' that is large enough for at least two children to get inside at one time.

It is aimed at reception year children, 4-5 years, and supplies teachers with different scenarios instantly usable with the accessories inside. The box can be transformed in minutes by placing the accessories in designated places to swap between scenarios.

The three scenarios included in this version of TeachBox are a Pirate Ship, a Castle and a Recycling Centre. In each scenario children are encouraged to develop certain skills such as hand eye coordination and spatial awareness.

TeachBox is constructed almost entirely from recycled cardboard in order for it to have minimum impact on the environment. It is cheap, safe and light whilst still remaining durable enough to withstand play.

TeachBox has been designed for children to use safely unsupervised and also with teachers input to enhance the child's learning experience by meeting skills found on the Early Years Foundation Stage Profiling.
