Project SUSPENSION SKATE aims to improve the ride of inline skates by adding an innovative suspension system, offering users a much more comfortable and safe experience.  With traditional inline skates there is no suspension mechanism so any bumps in the ground are transferred straight up into your legs. This project aims to incorporate a mechanism that will reduce the impact of rough ground on skate travel.

A suspension prototype has been manufactured and tested with great success.

Current Stage:

The final boot design is nearly complete with the finishing touches to be added. Form models of the boot have been planned and manufacture is due to start shortly. If time permits a second generation suspension system will also be manufactured.
