Increases in housing demands have meant smaller houses are being built with smaller gardens. But small gardens still need to be maintained, and people still need a place to store the tools for maintaining the garden. This is where the GardenBox comes in. It is based around a motor with an adjustable, foldable handle. The box includes three attachments; a rotary lawn mower, a strimmer and a hedge cutter. All the tools needed to carry out work in the garden.

Easy assembly and operation, and a small size when stored, are the priorities of the design. The handle has a telescopic mechanism for reducing its overall length for storage, as well as for using the hedge cutter. Additionally, the handles are adjustable for optimum position when using each of the tools. The main body of the lawn mower even reduces in size to make the storage case even smaller. The case dimensions are 73 x 36 x 36 cm; a size suitable for placement on a shelf or under the stairs.
