MA Degrees - Fees and Funding

MA Funding

Lord Cockfield, former vice-president of the European Commission, has awarded two scholarships for students taking the MA in Contemporary European Studies (MACES) from the Lady Monica Cockfield Trust set up in her memory. These cover fees at the Home/EU rate. Suitably qualified EU candidates are shortlisted automatically after Easter each year and interviews are usually held in May.

There are six OSI/FCO Chevening/Sussex scholarships for the MA in Contemporary European Studies or the MA in European Politics (fees and maintenance) for suitably qualified applicants from Albania, Belarus and Kosovo. Applications for these awards should be made via the local Open Society Institute representative in the respective countries before February.
