Bridge Car Park T's & C's

Terms and Conditions for parking at the Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club Bridge car park.

  1. The Bridge car park is located off A270/ Stoney Mere Way junction (close to The Keep) to the south-west of the University of Sussex campus.
  2. Your permit is valid until 31 August 2018 and is individually numbered, guaranteeing you a space at the Bridge car park. Your permit replaces that previously issued to you as either a UoS Campus parking permit or a pass to park (which allows you to park on a daily basis by purchasing scratch cards).
  3. The permit should be detached and displayed in the windscreen of your vehicle at all times and may be transferred between the vehicles that you have registered to use. The cost of your Bridge permit is the same as your previous Campus permit. If your previous Campus permit was a ‘pass to park, you will need to continue to display valid scratch cards, which will be purchased in advance.
  4. The Bridge car park is open between 7am and 7pm on weekdays. Parking is however not permitted on match days (see current list of fixtures). Your Bridge parking permit will not be valid on campus on these days. You will however be entitled to park on campus on weekday evenings after 6pm and at weekends.
  5. This permit will guarantee you a space in this car park, but please note spaces are not numbered. The car park is monitored by B&HAFC and governed by the B&HAFC parking regulations, and those parking without permits may incur a fine.
  6. Please drive to the car park via the railway bridge arch only (just off The Keep junction of the A270). B&HAFC have asked that you do not drive through the housing estate in Moulsecoomb, as this may upset residents.
  7. The permit can only be used by you for parking vehicles which have been registered by you on the University vehicle database. It is your responsibility to ensure that the registration details for these vehicles are kept up to date by updating the transport section of your personal record on Sussex Direct https://direct.sussex.ac.uk or by sending an e-mail to transport@sef.fm.
  8. The only exception to the above registration requirement is the permitted use of the permit in a courtesy vehicle provided by a garage or insurance company during the repair of your vehicle.
  9. Please e-mail transport@sef.fm to report any loss or theft of your permit. A replacement may incur an additional administrative charge.
  10. Refunds can be obtained for complete months remaining on the annual permit by sending a signed request to cancel the permit and returning the permit to the Transport Manager at transport@sef.fm. Authorised salary reduction payments will cease in the month following the cancellation request or at the end of a contract appointment.
  11. A full version of the B&HAFC parking regulations is available on request.
