Welcome
Residential, Sport and Trading Services (RSTS) is a section of the Professional Services covering housing, sport, catering, retail, conferences and childcare. The Division was created as part of the Professional Services Review in 2007 with the aim of improving the student experience with a focus on commercial and trading areas of University activity.
RSTS will support and enhance the student and staff experience, in line with agreed long term development plans, which will include a clear and "tested" specification for social and retail provision over a five year period linked to a planned programme of residential development. There will also be the development of an investment plan for sport driven by a sport and well-being strategy. The plans for the new Division will be reviewed annually and will be informed by regular customer feedback.
Services will also be regularly benchmarked against other institutions and service level agreements will be introduced where it is appropriate to do so.
