Teaching

I am the course organiser for and the sole instructor on an optional third-year undergraduate course: The Psychology of Altruism and Helping Behaviour (C8014).

I am the course organiser for and the sole instructor on a Master's 'mini-module': Qualitative Methods (982C8). I also teach 'Grounded Theory' on the second-year undergraduate Research Methods course (C8057).

I also have significant teaching responsibilities on Personality and Individual Differences (C8034: a compulsory second-year undergraduate course) and teach 'Communication Skills' to first- and second-year undergraduate medical students in Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS).

I also supervise third-year undergraduate psychology projects (up to 8 per year) and the projects of students on various Masters-level courses (different numbers each year). I also supervise research projects of 4th-year undergraduate medical students (1 a year, on average). Finally, I am currently first supervisor for one PhD student and second supervisor for another.
