I am a first year PhD student at the University of Sussex. After completing my undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Sussex focussing particularly on the Long Eighteenth Century and Renaissance Literature, I studied for my Masters degree in Linguistics from University College London.

My PhD explores community coexistence negotiated through lexical variation, investigating what lexical choices can tell us about identity and dialect contact.
