I was awarded my PhD in Anthropology from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2017. From November 2017 to April 2018 I held a Stipendiary Fellowship at the Institute of Latin American Studies (School of Advanced Study, University of London). Following completion of my Postdoctoral Fellowship at Sussex in Oct 2019, I will be taking up a Research Fellowship at the Margaret Anstee Centre for Global Studies (Newnham College, University of Cambridge). I am an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Latin American Studies (University of London) and a convener of the Development Studies Association Business and Development Study Group. I am also a board member of the social enterprise Sound & Fair (supplying the global musical instrument market with sustainably sourced wood from Tanzania).

I am a SeNSS/ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Anthropology, School of Global Studies.
