Biography

I studied mathematical physics MSci at the University of Nottingham between 2011-2015 and there began my PhD studies in the Ultracold Atoms Group working with Prof Peter Kruger. We moved to the University of Sussex in 2017 and have been studying in the Quantum Systems and Devices (QSD) group since.

Role

I am a PhD student working in the Quantum Systems and Devices (QSD) group. My work has focussed on improving cold atom sources as a base for quantum technologies and for complex magnetic microscopy or ultracold atom experiments. We are now working on phase interaction experiments using Bose-Einstein condensates.

Qualifications

MSci Hons Mathematical Physics, 2011-2015

Activities

I have been involved in the STEM Learning Quantum Ambassdor Programme since 2018.
