Biography

I completed my BA and MA in History from University of Delhi, India. I then joined the Zakir Husain Centre for Educational Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University for an MPhil degree. My MPhil research at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India included an intensive coursework in research methods and other aspects related to the history of education. It has provided me rigorous training in the handling of a diverse array of archival materials on agricultural themes as well as a broad understanding of the history of education as it unfolded in British India.

I have been awarded the Chancellor's International Research Scholarship and I joined the Department of History at University of Sussex in September 2017 for my doctoral research.
