Research

I am interested in educational research which aims to cultivate well-being, support capacity building, and promote the furthering of human potential in contexts of higher education internationally. My research encompasses reflection and reflexivity, character strengths and wellbeing, authenticity and congruence, and the development of teachers and researchers as whole people. I am also interested in the question of what it means to be a scholar in the context of military occupation.

I am currently the Education Pathway lead for Sussex in the South East Network for Social Science (SeNSS) Doctoral Training Partnership funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
