Biography
I am currently both a Doctorial Researcher and Tutor, within the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) and a member of the Sussex Energy Group. I am expecting to submit my PHD thesis in early 2020 and its working title is: "What aspects of governance deter private investors from financing large-scale electricity network infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa?"
My research interests surround the financing of electricity infrastructure development in sub-Saharan Africa; my doctorial tutoring currently involves teaching on various Masters modules within the Accounting and Finance department. Before returning to academia, I spent 23 years working in various parts of the financial markets in both the UK and Australia.
