I am conducting research with unaccompanied asylum seeking young people in England, exploring how they construct senses of belonging and identity, particularly in relation to learning.

I welcome contact from others researching or working in similar areas or around similar themes.

My predominant role is as a Doctoral Researcher, though I also co-facilitate the Doctoral Research in Progress series for the school of Education and Social Work. I am also running a Masterclass on young refugees and identity with Foundation year students in the spring of 2019.
