In my teaching, I focus on preparing students for work and life by imparting the following skills: critical thinking, communicating in writing and verbally, independent learning, and team-working.

I lead and teach:

1. a third year undergraduate Advanced Management Accounting (N1551) module which involves providing critical insights into how management accounting information are used for control and decision making purposes by individuals and organisations, and how and why management accounting has changed over the years.

2. a postgraduate Accounting, Organisations and Society (709N1) module, which involves providing insights into the 'disciplinary effects' of accounting on individuals, organisations and society.

3. a practitioner focussed Strategic Management Accounting (893N1) module to MBA students. It provides managers with insights into the accountablity, governance and performance implications of accounting. This course is critical and discursive.
