Biography

I'm an anthropologist working as a Research Fellow for the Connectors Study in Athens. I've received my PhD by the Freie Universität in Berlin, having previously study sociology (University of Crete) and visual anthropology (Goldsmiths College). I've undertaken research in Germany, South India and Greece, and have worked as a researcher in the University of Crete and as a visiting scholar in the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. Reflecting my research, I've published on politics around urban public space, media and youth activism, the political in childhood and the theory and method of visual anthropology.

Role

I work as a Research Fellow for the Connectors Study, carrying out ethnographic fieldwork in Athens.

I act as Head of Programming for the Athens Ethnographic Film Festival
