Research Topics:

I'm an empirical researcher that is interested in how firms actually manage their supply chains. Therefore I always try to focus on most recent developments, be it sustainability in supply chains, supply chain risk management, or how to foster innovation along the supply chain. My predominant focus is on the upstream supply chain and therefore I'd like to work with procurement managers in my research.

My most recent reserach interests comprise:

- Managing of complex n-tier upstream supply chains from a sustainability, risk and innovation perspective

- Fostering supply chain innovation in the supply base

- Knowledge exchange practices in global supply chains

- Conflict minerals and supply chain traceability/ transparency
