My research is concerned with the behavioural plasticity and learning capabilities of insect pollinators and pest species, and how this may influence their foraging decisions and interactions with their host plants. I am also interested in how the perceptual abilities of insects may have affected the evolution of plant-pollinator relationships.

I am also passionate about science communication and encouraging young people into STEM careers, particularly those from groups which are currently under-represented in the science community.
