Biography

Dr Priyamvada (Priya) Paudyal is a Lecturer in Public Health and Course Leader for MSc in Public Health at BSMS. Priya joined BSMS in March 2013. She has previously worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen and at Peninsula Medical School.

Priya completed her primary and high school education in Nepal. Priya moved to the United Kingdom in 2005 to undertake a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Services Research at the University of Aberdeen. She completed her PhD in 2011 from the University of Aberdeen. Her PhD work investigated respiratory symptoms and lung function in relation to cotton dust and endotoxin exposure in cotton textile workers. Following the completion of her PhD, Priya has been engaged in a wide range of epidemiology and public health related research and teaching activities.
