He is an active researcher and his research intends to develop and extend corporate governance research within the broader areas of corporate governance, market efficiency and stock exchange analysis. His research interests include corporate governance, corporate finance, information efficiency, stock market liquidity and financial market microstructure. His research work has attracted wide audience such as stock market regulators, investors and directors/advisors and received various research grant support from such as Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Cass, NBS and KCL. He has published in high quality peer-reviewed journals including European Journal of Finance, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and Journal of General Management. He serves in the Reviewer board for Asia Pacific Journal of Management and also actively reviews journal articles for Journal of Corporate Finance, European Journal of Finance, and Corporate Governance, an International Review. He is happy to cooperate with researchers in the similar areas and also welcomes potential PhD students' contacts with their research proposals.
