Tianyang Zhou is currently doing his PhD in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Sussex based in the department of Media and Film. His PhD research focuses on Chinese queer culture in a digital age. He is also interested in digital culture, gender and sexuality, queer theory, and online activism research. Website:
