I joined Sussex as a doctoral researcher in 2015, after having completed my BA and MA at UEA and King's College respectively.

My PhD The Raft, the Ladder, the Transitional Space, the Moratorium…’: Digital Interventions in Twenty-First-Century Private and Public Lives, supervised by Peter Boxall was completed in 2018, and examined the influence of digital culture on the contemporary novel on the articulation of space and duration, taste, surveillance and empathy.

I co-coordinated 'Imagining Life' hosted at Sussex in December 2017, part of the wider project and conference series 'Artificial Lives' which explores cultural responses to synthetic life forms.
