My research interests focus primarily on Labour Economics and Economics of Education.

For My PhD, I used Norwegian population register data to assess effects of the compulsory school reform in Norway, carried out in the 1960s and the 1970s. “Education and Mobility” published in Journal of the European Economic Association,  shows that there is a causal impact from education to regional mobility. Another article, published in Public Choice, shows the impact of the school reform on voter turnout.

My current research focuses on primary education in India and spatial structure of wages in the UK.
