Qualifications
D.Phil. Psychology, University of Sussex, 2009-present
MSc. Health Psychology, University of Southampton, 2004-2005

My doctoral research focuses on the error-monitoring of everyday activities in people with dementia of the Alzheimer-type (DAT). People with DAT suffer from everyday action impairment and errors are common in everyday tasks, such as tea-making. It appears that they may fail to monitor their own performance, thus making more errors. I am interested in understanding the breakdown of error-monitoring in these individuals and am keen to develop behavioural strategies, which may improve their error-monitoring and hopefully lead to fewer errors.
