Eleanor is a doctoral researcher at SPRU and her research focuses on energy demand and the digital society. She has five years of work experience in the sustainable energy sector. She worked as a Researcher at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) think tank where she focused on the shift towards low-carbon energy and the circular economy. Eleanor also worked as a renewable energy consultant at OST Energy where she provided advice to investors and developers of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects.

She holds a Master of Science in Energy Policy for Sustainability at SPRU and for her thesis, she explored renewable energy deployment instruments to explain why policy decisions in the UK differ with other EU member states, incorporating research from transition theories and the political economy. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Economics. 


Eleanor Drabik is a PhD Research Student at SPRU and she has an affiliation with the Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions (CREDS).
