I am a doctoral researcher within the School of Psychology.

I have previously worked as Research Assistant in the department developing a novel Forest School research paradigm to investigate links between declining access to Risky Play and increasing rates of childhood anxiety.

Working under the supervision of Dr. Kathryn Lester and Professor Robin Banerjee, I am investigating the development of social and emotional competencies in pre-school children. In particular I am interested in the ways in which early social play with peers influences important social skill learning, and how parental supervisory practices may impact the quality and range of children's play.
