Charlotte studied at the University of Oxford for a BA in Experimental Psychology and MSc in Neuroscience. She moved to the University of Cambridge for a PhD at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, on the structural and functional networks supporting control of voluntary action, supervised by Prof James Rowe. Charlotte moved to Brighton & Sussex Medical School in 2014 for a postdoc with Prof Hugo Critchley, investigating interoceptive processes and adaptive behavioural control in Tourette Syndrome (amongst other things). Charlotte joined the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex as a Lecturer in 2019.
