Hole, G. & Laurence, S. (2011, September). Hemispheric differences in face adaptation. Paper presented at the British Psychological Society Cognitive Section Conference.
My research interest is the effect of familiarity on face adaptation. Adaptation effects can provide a useful insight into how the brain might process faces. I am looking at whether various adaptation techniques suggest faces are processed differently, depending on how familiar they are.
My supervisor is Dr. Graham Hole
I am an Associate of the Higher Education Academy.
I teach Research Skills in Psychology, a first year Undergraduate course, and Applied Cognitive Psychology, a second year Undergraduate course. I have also demonstrated on a Pre-Sessional Master's course.
