In the use of classical invertebrate neuroethological experimental models (Aplysia, Helix, Lymnaea) for the investigation of the neuronal mechanisms underlying the generation and modulation of various types of behaviour, including learning. Cellular and molecular mechanisms of memory function and dysfunction. Technical expertise in behavioural analysis, electrophysiology, neuroanatomy, imaging and a variety of neuropharmacological and biochemical techniques.
