Biography

BA (UC Davis) MSc PhD (Penn State University)

Role

Reader in Psychology

Director of Student Experience in Psychology

My interests span all of the key family relationships, marital, parent-child, and sibling, as well as the broader family context & climate.  Specifically, I link family relations to children's well-being.  I take a family systems approach to research, meaning that I pay attention to the inter-dependence of relations among family members, as well as recognizing that the broader contexts of work, school, neighbourhood, and culture can affect the nature of families, as well as effects that families have on children’s development.

Course convenor:
Psychology of the Family (Year 3)

Contributing lecturer:
Developmental Psychology (Year 2)

Student Consultation

My office hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:30 - 11:30.
