Rosalie Birch, a first-year linguistics student, has been selected for the British Universities women's cricket squad, which plays Sussex tomorrow (5 June) at Lancing College.

A Sussex student has begun her term of office as the first female mayor of Telscombe. Marina Pepper, who is studying in the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) on the MA in Dramatic Writing, is also a Liberal Democrat councillor on Telscombe Town Council.
