Leverhulme Research Interchange GrantsApplications for the support of international academic collaborations involving visits, exchanges and possibly workshops and seminars. Grants will be for three years. Funds will support: travel and subsistence costs, seminar /workshop costs, a post-doctoral researcher; a postgraduate studentship to be attached to the project. BBSRC FellowshipsFive-year David Phillips Fellowships carry a £25k pa salary plus a research grant of up to £200k; three-year Research Development Fellowships provide up to £30k pa to meet replacement teaching costs; five-year Professorial Fellowships provide salaries for senior scientists and research grants up to £200k. EPSRC Post Genome Science Regional NetworksThree-year multi-disciplinary networks should focus on converting the knowledge that genome sequences represent into new products that will improve health and create wealth. Up to £60,000 is available for equipment, travel and subsistence, staff and consumables. Fulbright CommissionDistinguished scholars awards: £15,000 available for ten-month research visits in all subject areas. Science Fellowship Programme: £25,000 for 12-month research visits for new researchers. Ten-month AstraZeneca Research Scholarships in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or Bio-informatics. UK-Dutch Joint ResearchThe British Council and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research are inviting applications for joint research programmes in the fields of: humanities, social sciences, life sciences, natural sciences, and technical sciences. Funds cover international travel and subsistence. Visits can be between 1 week and 2 months.
