A Partner Institution is normally one recognised by the University of Sussex Council for the purposes of teaching students registered for programmes within that institution that (normally) lead to an award of the University. Those institutions offering whole programmes that lead to an award of the University are entitled to describe themselves as colleges or institutions affiliated to the University of Sussex.
Partner status, in the context of franchised or validated provision, is achieved following a process of institutional recognition. Institutions interested in entering into partnership with the University should contact the University's Partnership Office on 01273 872775.
