The Sussex Centre for Cultural Studies Working Paper Series (SCCS WPS) is an open access peer-review scholarly publication which will launch its first issue in the academic year 2011/2012. It is a joint endeavour between established scholars and doctoral students.
The Sussex Centre for Cultural Studies Working Paper Series aims to:
* Function as a platform for members of the SCCS to present work in progress and receive feedback.
* Foster pedagogic values of openness and cooperation in the research community working within the School of Media, Film and Music.
* Encourage thorough review and discussion.
* Aid rapid publication and feedback on ideas.
* Increase the visibility of the authors in the field of cultural studies within and beyond the University of Sussex.
