Did you know that Sussex has a substantial population of glow-worms? As part of National Insect Week , we invite you to join researchers from the University of Sussex for a night time walk to the top of Mount Caburn.

You will have the opportunity to observe the increasingly rare European Glow-Worm in its habitat and find out more about their conservation, ecology and natural history.

We will meet at the Post Office in Glynde where we will take a ~2 mile walk (approx. 45 mins) to see females glowing.

Please bring footwear appropriate for walking (boots or solid trainers) and a torch, the glow worms only glow when it's dark!

This event is only suitable for people aged 13 or over who are confident walking on uneven ground at night.
If you would like to attend please register here.
