Welcome to Mathematical Physics

The Mathematical Physics is an interdisciplinary group working between the Departments of Mathematics and Physics & Astronomy.

The group studies gravity, black holes, quantum field theory & quantum mechanics, quantum chemistry and statistical physics. Our interdisciplinary research extends mathematical and theoretical physics methods into finance and econophysics.

Campus map MP faculty are in Pevensey-2 and Pevensey-3 Building, marked as 26, to the west of the Science Car park, Car Park no. 1, as shown on the campus map.

Visitors arriving by car Park in any campus carpark.  The Science car park, car park no. 1 is nearest to MP which is in Pevensey-3 building.  Ask your host, or the School Office (main entrance foyer, Pevensey-2 building, shown as 50 on the campus map), for a parking voucher to display in your windscreen.  Please do not use the "Visitor's car park" as this is password protected.
