LPS Results Day Party 2015

Students celebrate at LPS Results Day 2015Spirits were high as dozens of Law, Politics and Sociology finalists celebrated their degree classification at the LPS Results Day Party on 12 June 2015.

Students and staff attended the event, which was hosted on the balcony of the School of Law, Politics and Sociology’s new home at the Freeman Building, from 12 noon, when the classifications were officially published.

After checking their results and relaying the good news to friends and family, the new graduands stayed to enjoy the party, which this year boasted a pirate theme.

Complimentary pirate hats, sea-themed balloons, swashbuckling music and the LPS parrot set the mood, with prosecco and beer on hand to raise a glass to the students’ success.

And as they reflected on their higher education journey, students tucked into pizza and freshly spun candyfloss.

Even a mid-afternoon downpour didn’t put a dampener on the celebrations, which simply saw the party move into the foyer of the Freeman Building.

The LPS Results Day Party has become an annual event, bringing students and staff together to celebrate that year's undergraduate successes ahead of the summer's graduation ceremonies.

Whether you were at the party or you were unable to attend, you can relive Results Day via the video and photos below.
